Day 1

Workout first thing and learn the proper warm-up and training techniques to elevate your training to the next level. Once we are finished working out, we eat lunch.

We group up and go through a small "riders meeting" explaining the days goals.

Next thing we do, before I say anything is, we go to a small course (around 1:30-2:00 in length). The small course will have tight trees, tight woods, open sections and I try to lay it out to have a little of everything, but it will be short in length. You will ride a few laps to get warmed up and learn the track. After that I will pull everyone off and then one at a time, each person will get a lap time. I write this lap time down and out it in my back pack to compare our end of the day lap to our original one. The only way you know if you have improved is if you know where you started.

After our lap time we start into it, we focus all of our time on day one mastering becoming one with the bike and it's controls. We work on balance, coordination, body position, braking, vision focus, tight corners, sweeping corners, working the foot pegs, sliding, throttle and clutch control, etc. Basically we master the fundamentals.

We do all these drills over and over until we build consistency to do the right thing over and over in every situation. The only way to build muscle memory is to do it over and over. The only difference in my eyes between a A rider and a c rider is the AA rider has the ability to do the same things over and over and is consistent in every situation.

At the end of day one (it will be getting dark) we will go back to our original track and apply (not try harder or ride out of control) the techniques we worked on during the day. YOU WILL IMPROVE IF YOU LEARNED ANYTHING! I have seen gains of 5-25 seconds a lap on a 1:30 lap doing this! It is amazing you can gain that much time by applying the proper technique, but it works even on the best riders in the country!

Day 2

We will workout again in the morning. The workout will be entirely different than we did on day 1.

Day 2 we will apply all that we learned on day 1 to obstacles. The obstacles will include jumping, logs, hills, hopping, using trail obstacles to set-up for sections, and starts.

Day 3

We will not workout on day 3.

Day 3 is focused strictly on speed, aggression, line selection, lap time consistency and braking/accelerating points. I will show you how to shave off time in each and every section of our original track we did a lap time on on day 1.

After we work the entire track (line selection, braking/accelerating points, etc) we will do another lap time. I have seen an addition 5-15 second gain by doing this.

THen, after we have our fastest lap it is time to see if you can be consistent. So we do a 20 minute moto (or 2 if we have the daylight) to make sure your fastest lap is no less the 2 seconds slower than your fastest lap the entire time during our 20 minute moto. If you start slacking and losing ground, I jump in ahead of you and you can follow me to try and see my lines, body position, braking/accelerating points to see of you can get back on track.

I want to make sure you keep on pace the entire moto and are consistent.
